Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort is hosting a feast with a wide assortment of scrumptious food and beverages at the ‘Bazar Sajian Muhibah Bukit Jalil’ Ramadhan buffet dinner.

Note: This month has got to be the busiest and the most challenging month ever for me. I’ve had so many things happening, going back and forth many times Ipoh-KL-Ipoh in a span of three weeks, dealing with personal issues, emergency cases, and so on. Please bear with me as I try to quickly post all reviews as soon as possible. 🙂

The picturesque view of the golf course with the KL skyline in the background.

It was my first time going to Bukit Jalil using public transportation. Since I was staying at my friend’s the night before, I took the Kampung Batu train nearby her house all the way to Bandar Tasik Selatan station. From there I took the Bukit Jalil train (LRT Sri Petaling Line) which only took roughly 5-10 minutes.

Then, from Bukit Jalil station, I took Uber and Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort is just roughly about 5-10 minutes away.

They had all the main dishes outdoor overlooking the golf course and the desserts section indoor.

I was very glad it didn’t rain on that day!

The concept is bazaar-style with the main dishes right in the center. There are also live cooking stalls.

The Ramadhan buffet at Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Resort highlights Malaysia’s multicultural culinary delights and unique flavors from traditional Malay, Chinese and Indian.

Pictured above are Chef Shahfiq and Chef Gopi.

All the highlighted dishes showcasing different flavors of Malaysia from three different chefs.

These are the main highlighted dishes – Nasi Ayam Buluh and the colorful Kuih Ros Goyang. I love the dessert plate pretty decoration and the carved swan from watermelon skin/rind.

The pretty multi-colored Kuih Ros Goyang.

Kuih Ros Goyang is my favorite and it was the first time I saw that kuih in different colors. I wanted to taste it but unfortunately, somehow I had forgotten 🙁

Of course, a Ramadhan buffet won’t be complete without the hot BBQ/Grill section.

There were lamb, chicken and some choices of fish.

Nasi Ayam Buluh by Chef Shahfiq.

I absolutely LOVED this dish. It has a unique flavor as the ‘homemade’ chicken is cooked in bamboo served with special rice, which tasted like ‘Nasi Ulam’.

When I first saw the bamboo, I thought they were cooking lemang.

Chicken Makhani or butter chicken served with Nasi Kashmiri by Chef Gopi.

Chicken Makhani is one of my favorites. It is an Indian chicken dish in a mildly spiced curry sauce. It’s not spicy at all, but more like creamy. It was so good.

This is Kupang Berlada.

Another one of my favorites! Tasty and kind of spicy.

There was also the ‘fried’ section with fried noodles and ‘cucur‘.

My most favorite section of all – desserts!

Look at how colorful and pretty those cakes look. They had a variety of desserts to choose from – cakes to puddings to fresh fruits.

I absolutely LOVED the food. Normally, I don’t go for rice when I go for reviews and would always go for meat instead but you definitely shouldn’t miss the main dishes here.

I really liked the pancakes with orange syrup. And the puddings.

I don’t think I need to say much about cakes because they’re obviously sinfully sweet and delicious. I loved the tarts and the strawberry cakes.
